Today, Erik and I went to our weekly track workout at Kezar track in SF. We do this every Wednesday with our team and our coach. The coach gives us a workout to do and we all do it at our own pace.
Today was running 4x800 so that means we ran 4 800's (2 laps around the track) with a recovery lap in between. It wasn't too hard but it is easier to just run a few miles than push yourself for 1/2 mile over and over, in my mind.
I was having trouble with my shoe, too. My toes were falling asleep but if I loosend my laces, my knee would hurt. I might be heading to the show store to get re-fitted. I am wondering if my usual shoe (Asics 2160) aren't working for me anymore??
Anyway, after running, we stretched and then do core workout like abs, planks, etc. It is a good workout and after 1.5 hrs of it, we are ready to go home!
In fundraising news, we have raised $345 so far!! Our goal is $3,300 so we are only $3K away! Woohoo!
Next up for us this week is our Saturday run at Baker Beach. We'll keep you posted!
XO
Heather
